Joel Perry spent 20 years working across the construction industry, learning from skilled craftsmen in all corners of the country. That time in the field gave him a broad foundation in how good work actually gets done — from framing and foundations to finish carpentry and everything in between. When he relocated from the Midwest to Rye, Colorado in 2021, he saw a community that deserved that same level of craft and care.

In 2022, Joel founded Greenhorn Valley Builders to bring that experience home to the southern Front Range. The name reflects the land itself — the Greenhorn Valley area that surrounds Rye and stretches toward the mountains. This is where we live and work, and that connection to the community shapes how we approach every project.

We are locally owned and operated, fully licensed and insured, and committed to doing the job right the first time. What sets us apart is not just the quality of our work — it is the way we communicate. We keep our customers informed at every stage so there are no surprises, no confusion, and no frustration. A smooth process matters just as much as a solid finished product.
